What Berufsprüfungen Deutschland covers

Berufsprüfungen Deutschland is one download that opens onto ten independent German occupational-licence exams. Each exam is its own purchase, so you only pay for the one you are sitting; a single hall pass unlocks every exam in the app, including ones added later. Einmal zahlen, kein Abo, ohne Internet: you buy an exam once and keep it, there is no recurring charge, and everything works offline.

Which exams are in the app?

Ten, all built and none listed as a placeholder. Four are Gewerbeordnung trade-licence Sachkundeprüfungen for the financial trades — §34d Versicherungsvermittler (522 questions), §34f/§34h Finanzanlagenvermittler (300), §34i Immobiliardarlehensvermittler (298) and §34k Darlehensvermittler (350). The §34a Sachkundeprüfung for the Bewachungsgewerbe (717 questions) is the largest pack in the app. Three cover transport: the Gefahrgutbeauftragten-Prüfung (910), the ADR-Schein for dangerous-goods drivers (150) and the beschleunigte Grundqualifikation für Berufskraftfahrer (209). Two sit outside the GewO §34 family altogether: the Fachkundeprüfung Verkehrsleiter (150), which is the EU transport-manager CPC, and the Zertifizierter Verwalter nach WEG (119). That is 3,725 original questions, 1,169 flashcards and 58 topic notes in total.

Does the app cover the whole of each exam?

No, and it says so per exam rather than in a blanket sentence, because the honest answer differs. The §34d, §34f/§34h and §34i exams each have a practical part — a simulated client-advice conversation — that multiple-choice cannot represent, so those packs prepare for the written part only. §34a and the WEG-Verwalter exam each have an oral part that is not simulated here. For the Verkehrsleiter exam the app covers the written knowledge questions, which carry 40 per cent of the marks under § 5 (3) GBZugV; the written exercises and case studies (35 per cent) and the oral examination (25 per cent) are not included. §34k is the one exam here with no such gap: under § 3 (1) DarlVermV it is written only.

How is each mock exam scored, and where do those numbers come from?

Only where the law fixes a number does the app claim one. §34a is the clearest case: 82 questions in 120 minutes, each worth as many points as it has correct answers and at most two, so the paper totals 120 points and 60 (50%) are needed to pass. The Gefahrgutbeauftragten-Prüfung has its 50 per cent pass mark fixed nationally by § 6 (2) GbV, but § 7 (2) leaves the question count and timing to each Chamber of Industry and Commerce, so the app's mock length is its own. The same pattern holds for §34d, §34f, §34i, §34k and Verkehrsleiter, whose regulations delegate the procedure to chamber statutes. Where the regulation is silent, the app's mock settings are disclosed as the app's own rather than dressed up as the exam's.

What does the BKF beschleunigte Grundqualifikation cover?

It covers 10 of the 14 Anlage 1 BKrFQV objectives that apply to goods transport (classes C1, C1E, C, CE), and the app does not claim the full syllabus. Four objectives — 1.1 kinematische Kette, 3.2 Kriminalität und Schleusung, 3.3 Ergonomie and 3.6 Unternehmensimage — have no statute behind them: engine torque curves, ergonomics and company image are not law, so no legally grounded question can be written for them. A further four objectives (1.5, 1.6, 2.3, 3.8) are passenger-only and out of scope for a goods pack. The written exam lasts 90 minutes (§ 2 Absatz 6 BKrFQV), and that is the only figure about the real exam this app states as fact: the regulation fixes no question count, requiring only at least one question per applicable objective, and no percentage pass mark, § 2 Absatz 9 asking merely for mindestens ausreichende Leistungen. The widely repeated "30 Fragen" and "60 %" are chamber practice, not regulation, and are not repeated here.

Where do the questions come from?

Every question is written from the statutes and regulations each exam is set from, and each explanation cites the provision it rests on. German statutes and official works carry no copyright under § 5 (1) UrhG, which is what makes this possible. No official question bank is reproduced or paraphrased: not the DIHK collection the Gefahrgut exam draws from under § 6 (5) GbV, not the DIHK pool that exists for the BKF exam, and not any chamber's paper. Some material is deliberately excluded for licence reasons rather than convenience — the IMDG Code and the ADR/RID/ADN substance tables are not covered by the § 5 (1) UrhG exception, and the insurance industry's Rahmenplan is protected, so none of them are cited anywhere in the app.

What is planned?

More German occupational-licence exams are planned for this same app; Sportbootführerschein is on the roster but its content is not produced yet. Candidates are evaluated against RiverMap's usual filters — an openly reusable official source, a multiple-choice-compatible format, and real, sourced demand — before any content is produced. None of them are listed as purchasable placeholders anywhere in the app or on this page: a shelf entry with nothing behind it would be a paid listing with no content, and we do not sell that. The hall pass covers exams added later, so buying it now includes them.

Three things this app tells you plainly

First: the real §34a written exam gives partial credit on its two-point questions, where finding one of the two correct answers still scores a point. This app's engine is single-select, so its two-point questions are marked all-or-nothing. That makes a §34a mock score in this app stricter than or equal to the real exam, never more lenient. The §34d mock is stricter in a second way: § 4 (7) VersVermV lets 30 per cent suffice in whichever area came out weakest, which a fixed setting cannot represent, so the app requires 50 per cent in all five. Second: the weighting of topic areas used to build mock exams is RiverMap's own estimate of how much syllabus content each one covers, not an official distribution — no chamber publishes how many questions each area gets. Third: two packs carry a declared content gap rather than quietly filling it. The §34i pack has no questions for Anlage 1 item 2.11.2 (economic cycles and their effect on lending), which has no statutory source and no reusable public one; the BKF pack is missing four objectives for the same reason. Both gaps are stated in the app itself, not only here.

Features

A complete study system, on one device

01 / HALL

One app, ten German licence exams

Each exam is sold on its own so you only pay for the one you need, or unlock a single pass that covers every exam in the app today and any added later — no repurchase when an eleventh ships.

02 / SOURCED

3,725 questions citing the statute

Every question is written from the regulation the exam is set from, and every explanation names the exact provision it rests on, so you can check any answer against the law yourself rather than taking it on trust.

03 / HONEST

Each exam says what it does not cover

Written part only where the exam has a practical or oral component, 40 per cent of the marks for Verkehrsleiter, 10 of 14 objectives for BKF. The gaps are stated in the app, not just on this page, because a revision app that hides them is one you find out about in the exam room.

04 / OFFLINE

No account, no subscription, no internet

Buy an exam once and keep it. Everything runs on the device, progress never leaves it, and there is nothing to log into — the app works the same on a train with no signal as it does at home.

Where the questions come from, and when we last checked

Built from the Gewerbeordnung and its trade regulations (BewachV, VersVermV, FinVermV, ImmVermV, DarlVermV), the Gefahrgutbeauftragtenverordnung (GbV) with the GGVSEB and GGVSee, ADR chapter 8.2, the BKrFQG and BKrFQV, the GBZugV with Annex I of Regulation (EC) No 1071/2009, and the WEG with the ZertVerwV — plus DGUV Vorschrift 1 and 23 for the §34a accident-prevention rules (§34a: written exam format in force since 1 July 2025 (120-point scale). Gefahrgut: GbV, GGVSEB and GGVSee as in force. ADR: 2025 edition, chapter 8.2. BKF: BKrFQV including Anlage 1 as in force. All verified against gesetze-im-internet.de on the dates recorded per pack, most recently 24 August 2026.), the official public source, used under German statutes and official works are not subject to copyright under § 5 (1) UrhG; all questions, explanations and flashcards are original works by RiverMap Learning. No official question collection is reproduced or paraphrased — neither the DIHK collection referred to in § 6 (5) GbV, nor the published DIHK pool for the BKF exam, nor any chamber paper. The IMDG Code, the ADR/RID/ADN substance tables and the insurance industry Rahmenplan fall outside the § 5 (1) UrhG exception and are cited nowhere in the app. The Verkehrsleiter subject list is based on Annex I Part I of Regulation (EC) No 1071/2009, consolidated version, © European Union, 1998-2026, https://eur-lex.europa.eu — an adapted presentation, not the official text. Content audit trail
  • 2026-08-10 Initial 700-question §34a Sachkundeprüfung pack across all seven Sachgebiete, written from the Gewerbeordnung, BewachV and DGUV regulations with a per-question source citation and cross-model QA. More German occupational-licence exams are planned for this app and not yet in production.
  • 2026-08-12 Grundzüge der Sicherheitstechnik topped up from 48 to 65 questions, bringing the pack to 717. The 17 new questions are written from the same archived BSI IT-Grundschutz and BSI C5 sources as the rest of that Sachgebiet, each citing the requirement it rests on, and were held to the same cross-model QA gates as the original pack. No existing question was changed.
  • 2026-08-13 Second exam added: the Gefahrgutbeauftragten-Prüfung, 910 original questions and 230 flashcards across nine topic areas, written from the Gefahrgutbeauftragtenverordnung, GGVSEB and GGVSee archived in full from gesetze-im-internet.de. Every citation was checked to exist in the archived source (910/910) and the pack passed all 29 receiving gates. The §34a pack is unchanged. Note on exam facts: § 6 (2) GbV fixes the pass mark at 50 percent of the maximum score, but § 7 (2) leaves the question count and time limit to each chamber's own statute, so this page states the pass mark as official and describes the app's mock length as our own.
  • 2026-08-24 BKF beschleunigte Grundqualifikation (Güterkraftverkehr) added as the tenth exam: 209 original questions and 69 flashcards covering 10 of the 14 Anlage 1 BKrFQV objectives that apply to goods transport. Four objectives (1.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.6) are absent because no statute governs them, and the pack states that rather than citing the syllabus as if it proved an answer. This page was rewritten from a two-exam to a ten-exam description at the same time.
What this app does not cover
  • In the real written exam, questions with two correct answers are marked proportionally: finding one of the two scores a point. This app does not reproduce that multiple-selection format. Two-point questions here have one selectable answer and are marked all-or-nothing, so a mock score in this app tends to be stricter than the real exam, never more lenient.
  • The weighting of the seven subject areas in the mock exams is an estimate based on the extent of the DIHK framework plan, not an official distribution: neither DIHK nor the IHKs publish the number of questions per subject area.
  • The oral part is not simulated in this app. It runs about 15 minutes per candidate and focuses on subject areas 1 and 6 (§ 11 BewachV); no nationally uniform catalogue of discussion scenarios is published.
FAQ

Common questions

Which exams does Berufsprüfungen Deutschland cover?

Ten, all built and available today: the §34a Sachkundeprüfung for the Bewachungsgewerbe (717 questions), the Gefahrgutbeauftragten-Prüfung (910), the §34d Versicherungsvermittler (522), §34k Darlehensvermittler (350), §34f/§34h Finanzanlagenvermittler (300) and §34i Immobiliardarlehensvermittler (298) Sachkundeprüfungen, the Fachkundeprüfung Verkehrsleiter (150), the Zertifizierter Verwalter nach WEG (119), the ADR-Schein for dangerous-goods drivers (150) and the beschleunigte Grundqualifikation für Berufskraftfahrer (209). That is 3,725 original questions, 1,169 flashcards and 58 topic notes. More German licence exams are planned and are not listed as placeholders before their content is finished.

Do I have to buy every exam?

No. Each exam in the app is its own purchase, so you only pay for the one you are sitting — €9.99 to €14.99 depending on the size of its question bank. A single hall pass (€34.99) unlocks every exam in the app, including any added later, if you would rather have all of them. There is no subscription either way, and everything works offline once installed.

Does the app prepare me for the whole exam?

That depends on the exam, and the app states it per exam rather than in one blanket claim. §34d, §34f/§34h and §34i each have a practical part — a simulated client-advice conversation — that multiple-choice cannot represent, so those packs cover the written part only. §34a and the WEG-Verwalter exam each have an oral part that is not simulated. The Verkehrsleiter pack covers the written knowledge questions, 40 per cent of the marks under § 5 (3) GBZugV, and not the case studies or oral exam. §34k is written-only by regulation (§ 3 (1) DarlVermV), so nothing is missing there.

How is the §34a written exam scored, and is the app's score fair?

The real written exam is 82 questions in 120 minutes, worth 120 points in total, with 60 points (50%) needed to pass. A question is worth as many points as it has correct answers, at most two. The real exam awards partial credit on those two-point questions: finding one of the two correct answers still scores a point. This app's engine is single-select, so it marks them all-or-nothing. The practical effect is that a mock score here is stricter than or equal to the real exam and never more lenient, which is the safe direction for a score you are using to judge readiness.

How many questions does the BKF beschleunigte Grundqualifikation exam have, and what is the pass mark?

Neither is fixed by the regulation, and this app does not invent one. BKrFQV § 2 Absatz 6 requires only at least one question per applicable Anlage 1 objective and states no total; § 2 Absatz 9 requires merely mindestens ausreichende Leistungen and states no percentage. The marking is set by the competent Industrie- und Handelskammer. The one figure the regulation does fix is the duration: a written exam of 90 minutes. Figures such as "30 questions" or "60 per cent" circulate widely but are chamber practice rather than regulation, so the app's own 40-question mock passing at 24 is disclosed as its own practice setting.

Why does the BKF pack cover only 10 of the 14 objectives?

Because four of them have no statute behind them. Objectives 1.1 (kinematische Kette), 3.2 (Kriminalität und Schleusung), 3.3 (Ergonomie) and 3.6 (Unternehmensimage) concern engine torque curves, ergonomics and company image, none of which German law regulates. A question there could cite only the syllabus, and a syllabus proves a topic is examinable, never that a particular answer is right. Rather than ship confidently-worded guesswork, those four are absent and every surface says 10 of 14. A further four objectives (1.5, 1.6, 2.3, 3.8) apply only to passenger transport and are outside a goods-transport pack's scope.

Do the mock exams match the real exams' topic distribution?

No official per-topic distribution exists to match: no chamber publishes how many questions come from each subject area, for any of these exams. The weighting used to build mocks is RiverMap's own estimate of how much syllabus content each area covers, and the app says so rather than implying an official structure. The same discipline applies to mock length and timing: where a regulation fixes them they are used, and where it delegates them to a chamber statute the app's setting is disclosed as its own.

How much do these exams cost to sit?

There is no nationwide fee for any of them. The cost is set by the responsible Industrie- und Handelskammer and varies by chamber — the §34a exam runs roughly €122 to €430, for example. Check the current fee with the chamber you will sit under. That fee is separate from the price of this app.

Who writes these questions, and how do you check the answers are right?

Every question and explanation is original, written by RiverMap Learning from the statutes and regulations in force for each exam, and each explanation cites the provision it rests on so you can verify it yourself. German statutes and official works carry no copyright under § 5 (1) UrhG, which is what makes writing from them possible. No official question collection is reproduced or paraphrased: not the DIHK collection the Gefahrgut exam draws from under § 6 (5) GbV, not the published DIHK pool for the BKF exam, and not any chamber's paper. Answers are checked by a cross-model review in which a second, different model has to confirm the answer is supported by the cited provision.

Is this an official app?

No. Berufsprüfungen Deutschland is an independent study aid. It is not connected with the DIHK, any Industrie- und Handelskammer or any public authority, and it reproduces no official exam questions. Names of exams and statutes are used descriptively to say which exam the material prepares for.
