What the Auxiliar and Administrativo AGE exams involve
The oposiciones for the Cuerpo General Auxiliar (subgrupo C2) and the Cuerpo General Administrativo (subgrupo C1) of the Administración General del Estado are convoked by the Secretaría de Estado de Función Pública and run by the Comisión Permanente de Selección. The current convocatoria is the Resolución de 18 de diciembre de 2025 (BOE-A-2025-26262).
What is the format of the Auxiliar (C2) exam?
The C2 Auxiliar exam is a single exercise of 110 multiple-choice questions in 90 minutes, split into two separately eliminatory parts.
- Primera parte: the organisational and legal syllabus (bloque I) plus psychometric aptitude questions (verbal, numerical and administrative-tasks).
- Segunda parte: office IT and citizen services — Windows, Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Internet, e-administration and public attention.
What is the format of the Administrativo (C1) exam?
The C1 Administrativo first exercise has 90 questions in 100 minutes: a first part on the full syllabus (law, public employment, budgets and office IT) and a supuesto práctico — a case file followed by questions about it. Both parts are eliminatory.
How are the AGE exams scored?
Every wrong answer deducts one third of the value of a correct answer, and blank answers carry no penalty. Each part is scored from 0 to 50 points and needs 25 to pass; failing either part fails the exercise. The raw score that corresponds to those 25 points is set by the Comisión Permanente de Selección after the exam — the convocatoria only guarantees it will not be below 30% of the maximum obtainable raw score.
What does this app not cover?
The syllabus tema on the organisation of the European Union (bloque I of both programmes) is not included: the consolidated EU treaties are not among the sources this app can reproduce, and we prefer to say so rather than cover it with material we cannot back with a citation. For that tema, study from the EU's own texts.

What this app does not cover
- The EU-institutions topic (bloque I, tema 10 of the Auxiliar programme and tema 11 of the Administrativo one) is not covered: the consolidated treaties are not among the sources this app can reproduce, and we would rather say so than fill the gap with material we cannot stand behind. The real exam does include it, so study it from the European Union's own texts. Mock exams draw no questions from that topic.

Common questions
Which exams does this app prepare for?
The free-access (ingreso libre) first exercises of two state exams: the Cuerpo General Auxiliar de la Administración del Estado (subgrupo C2) and the Cuerpo General Administrativo de la Administración del Estado (subgrupo C1), as convoked by BOE-A-2025-26262. You pick your track in the app and the mock follows that corps' question count, time limit and two-part structure.
How is the real exam scored?
Every wrong answer deducts one third of the value of a correct answer and blank answers do not penalise. Each of the two parts is scored from 0 to 50 points and needs 25 to pass; both parts are eliminatory, so passing one does not compensate failing the other. The raw-score equivalent of those 25 points is set by the Comisión Permanente de Selección after the exam, with a guaranteed floor of 30% of the maximum obtainable raw score.
Does the app include supuestos prácticos?
Yes. It includes five original case files in the C1 second-part format, each a realistic administrative expediente followed by 20 questions about representation, deadlines, notifications and procedure as they apply to the facts of the case.
Does the question distribution match the real exam?
Partially, and we say so openly. The convocatoria fixes each part's total question count and time, and the app follows those exactly. It does not publish how many questions each tema gets inside a part, so the app's per-topic split is our estimate, derived from how many temas each bloque holds. No app can truthfully claim the official per-topic proportion, because there isn't a published one.
What does the app not cover?
The syllabus tema on the organisation of the European Union (bloque I of both programmes). The consolidated EU treaties are not among the sources this app can reproduce, so rather than write questions we cannot back with a citation, we leave that tema out and tell you. Study it from the EU's own texts. Everything else in both programmes is covered, and every explanation cites the article it rests on.
