Conoces a una persona nueva. ¿Qué dices para saludar?
Based on: DELE A2 — Expresión funcional (saludar y presentarse)
An independent A2 practice app for the Spanish DELE A2 exam taken for nationality: all four skills (reading, listening, writing, speaking), original questions with es-ES audio, model answers and Spanish + English explanations.
The DELE A2 is the level A2 Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language, issued by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of Spain's Ministry of Education. Passing the DELE A2, together with the CCSE test, is one of the language requirements to apply for Spanish nationality by residence. The diploma has indefinite validity.
The exam (versión 2020) has four tests, and this app practises all of them.
The four tests are grouped into two groups of 50 points. You need at least 30 out of 50 in each group: Group 1 (Reading + Writing) and Group 2 (Listening + Speaking). If either group falls below 30 the result is NO APTO, even if the overall total is above 60. The final result is only APTO or NO APTO.
For nationality by residence the required level is A2 of the Common European Framework (CEFR). Nationals of Spanish-speaking countries are generally exempt from the DELE requirement. This app practises at A2. Always check the current requirements on the official pages.
800+ original A2 items across 8 everyday topics: reading passages, listening questions with native es-ES audio, plus writing and speaking tasks with graded model answers and self-assessment rubrics. Speaking is recorded on your device and never uploaded.
Full timed sittings of 40 questions in 50 minutes, weighted across the 8 topics, drawn fresh from the bank each time. The guide explains the real pass rule (at least 30/50 in each of the two groups, APTO or NO APTO).
Key vocabulary for each of the 8 topics as quick-fire cards, with explanations in Spanish and English, so you build the everyday words the exam expects at A2.

For nationality by residence you must pass two Instituto Cervantes tests: the DELE at level A2 or higher, and the CCSE (constitutional and sociocultural knowledge). Nationals of Spanish-speaking countries are generally exempt from the DELE; certain official Spanish language certificates can also satisfy the requirement.
Each of the four skills is worth 25 points (100 total). The skills form two groups of 50: Reading+Writing and Listening+Speaking. You need at least 30/50 in each group to be APTO. Falling below 30 in either group means NO APTO even if the total exceeds 60.
Yes. It includes writing tasks (a reply message and a short composition) with graded model answers, and speaking tasks (topic presentation, photo description and simulated dialogue) with spoken model examples. Every question, text, audio script and model answer is original, written by RiverMap Learning to match only the publicly documented DELE A2 (versión 2020) format. Before it ships, a second, independent AI model from a different family confirms each answer against its source, and a human reviews anything the two models disagree on. You can read the full process at rivermaplearning.com/how-we-build-questions, and the free sample questions above let you judge the quality before you buy.
