Not as a score. One question per topic is far too few to tell you how good you are at Chemistry and exactly enough to tell you where to look next. Read it as a map: the topic you miss, or get right for the wrong reason, is the topic to open first. That is why the questions are spread one per topic rather than concentrated on the compulsory part, even though the compulsory part is twelve fifteenths of the syllabus.
In Chemistry the distractors are rarely random. They are the specific confusion the topic produces: the strong acid mistaken for the concentrated one, the equilibrium read as a stopped reaction, the enthalpy change read off the activation barrier. The explanation under each question says why each wrong option is wrong, so getting the right answer for the wrong reason does not survive the page. Every question in the app is written the same way.
Multiple-choice in Chemistry rewards the step before the arithmetic: the balanced equation, the mole ratio, which species is oxidised. Get those right and the number usually falls out in one line. That is the shape of the questions here and in the app, which is honest about what a four-option question can test: it will catch a mole ratio taken from the wrong side of an equation, and it will not mark a titration calculation written out over half a page. That part still belongs to your exercise book and your teacher.
Many Hong Kong candidates understand Chemistry in Chinese and answer in English. That is a naming problem rather than a comprehension one, and revising harder does not fix it. The questions on this page are in English because the paper is; in the app the same question, the same explanation and the same flashcard switch between English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese at a tap, so you can settle the concept in the language you think in and then check the term you will have to write.
